About Me

Gifts of the Most Worth
I was just reading another blog site. The post was about the past and part was about thebest Christmas gift she received. Her answer was that it was that they were poor and didn't know it. That is how I feel about my childhood. Money surely does not buy happiness. Love does that. The love we have for others and that they have for us. Many of my best memories were from times when we had very little in worldly goods. I remember making gifts for each other. For instance, necklaces of buttons or filberts(hazelnuts) and dolls made of scraps. It was the love and thoughtfulness that added to the value of these gifts. I thank my parents for teaching me to value those things of most worth. Like the sight of the night sky, flowers in a pile of rubble, the smile you bring the face of another. Thank You!
